Postpartum Recovery Kit
Gift with purchaseFree Perineal Foam + free SkinSoother until 30 Nov
Your recovery matters as much as your baby's care, and it is rarely covered in antenatal preparation. The Postpartum Recovery Kit brings the bathroom essentials together in one box, so they are ready before the birth rather than shopped for after it.
How it is used
The same five steps as on the box, at every bathroom visit:
- Cleanse: warm-water rinsing after every toilet visit with the Upside Down Peri Bottle, sold separately and included in the Labour & Delivery Kit.
- Wear: disposable underwear that holds the layers in place.
- Chill & Absorb: Instant Ice Maxi Pads, bend to activate, no freezer needed.
- Calm: a witch hazel cooling liner laid across the pad.
- Cool: Perineal Foam on the liner at every change.

Recovery care basics
What is commonly recommended for early recovery, and where the kit covers it.
The same basics come up again and again in Australian postnatal advice for the days after birth. Each is covered by an item in the kit.
Always discuss your labour, delivery and recovery plan with your midwife, obstetrician or GP.

For every kind of birth
The same kit, three ways it gets used.
Vaginal birth
Ice pads for the first 72 hours, liners and foam for ongoing cooling comfort, and underwear that holds it all in place. Add the Upside Down Peri Bottle for rinsing; it is sold separately.
Caesarean
Lochia happens after every birth, so the pads, liners and foam are all still used. Add the High Waist Disposable Underwear, which sits above the incision rather than on it.
As a gift
The present almost nobody puts on a registry, because nobody told them they would need it. Gift-ready packaging, used from the first day home.
What midwives recommend
Prepared before the birth, not improvised after it.
Australian midwives and maternal and child health nurses say the same thing: most new parents arrive on the postnatal ward prepared for the baby and under-prepared for their own first days. The basics they recommend are simple. Comfortable clothing for labour. Warm water rinsing instead of wiping after every toilet visit. Cooling for perineal swelling in the first days. Witch hazel for comfort. Soft, supportive underwear that holds a pad in place.
Every item in this kit maps to one of those recommendations. Having it packed before the birth means nobody is sent to the chemist at 10pm on day one. Your midwife remains the right person for anything specific to your recovery.
