Cradle cap is a build-up of dry, scaly skin on the scalp and is very common in babies. The Flake Fixer is a three-step kit for managing it gently in the bath: lather with the sponge, loosen with the silicone brush, then lift the loosened flakes with the fine-tooth comb.

How to use

Lather: wet the sponge and work baby wash into the scalp.
Loosen: brush in small circles with the silicone side.
Lift: comb through gently to remove the loosened flakes, then rinse.

Good to know

Use a couple of times a week rather than every bath.
Rinse all three parts after use. Dishwasher safe.
If the scalp is red, weeping or not improving, see your GP or child health nurse.

About this product

What is cradle cap?

Yellowish, greasy flakes on the scalp in the first months. Very common, not itchy, not contagious and usually clears on its own. The kit makes it tidier in the meantime.

How often should I use it?

A couple of times a week in the bath, not every night. Over-scrubbing irritates the scalp.

Can I use it on eyebrows?

Cradle cap can appear on the eyebrows too. Use the soft sponge and brush only, very gently, and keep it away from the eyes.

When should I see someone?

If the scalp is red, weeping, spreading to the body or not improving after a few weeks, see your GP or child health nurse.

How do I clean the parts?

Rinse all three after use and let them dry. They are dishwasher safe.
