Frida · Baby Bath Brush
Skinsoother
Dry patches and cradle cap are common in the first months. The Skinsoother is a soft silicone brush that fits in your palm and gently lifts loose flakes in the bath, so moisturiser can reach the skin underneath instead of sitting on top.
How to use
- Wet the skin and brush in small, light circles with baby wash or warm water.
- Rinse the loosened flakes away and pat dry.
- Follow with your usual baby moisturiser while the skin is still slightly damp.
Good to know
- Silicone bristles are soft enough for newborn skin and the scalp.
- Rinse and air-dry after each use. Dishwasher safe.
- For persistent or inflamed skin, check with your GP or child health nurse.

Step by step
How to use the Skinsoother
For cradle cap: oil first
Massage a little coconut, olive or baby oil into the scalp 10 to 15 minutes before the bath to soften the flakes.
Small circles in the bath
With a gentle baby wash, brush in slow circles over the scalp or the dry patches. Lukewarm water; hot water dries skin further.
Rinse and pat dry
Rinse well and pat, do not rub. A few flakes lifting is the point; do not chase every one in a single bath.
Moisturise with the beads
While the skin is still damp, apply moisturiser and use the raised beads to work it in rather than leaving it on top.
Stick it to the wall
Rinse the brush and press the suction cup to the bath wall so it dries between uses.
Three skin situations, one brush
And an everyday bath brush the rest of the time.
Cradle cap
Yellowish flakes on the scalp in the first weeks or months. Common, harmless and usually clears on its own. Oil, soften, brush, a couple of times a week.
Dry, flaky patches
Cheeks, scalp and creases, especially in heated rooms and dry winters. Gentle circles at bath time, then moisturise while damp.
Everyday bathing
Silicone does not hold bacteria or smell the way a washcloth does. Head to toe with a little baby wash.
