Common questions

Before you order

What is the difference between the Labour & Delivery Kit and the Postpartum Recovery Kit?

The Recovery Kit contains disposable underwear, ice pads, cooling liners, perineal foam and the caddy; the peri bottle is sold separately. The Labour & Delivery Kit adds a labour gown, grip socks and a toiletry carry bag for the hospital bag.

Which disposable underwear: High Waist or Boyshort?

High Waist for c-section recovery, as the waistband sits above the incision, or for more abdominal support. Boyshort for vaginal birth recovery or an everyday cut.

When should I buy, before or after birth?

Before. Ideally four to six weeks before your due date, packed into the hospital bag.

Can Frida Mom products be used while breastfeeding?

Yes. The witch hazel in the liners and foam is applied topically and is not absorbed systemically in meaningful quantities. Discuss specific concerns with your midwife, GP or lactation consultant.
